Classes
Scene Study Classes
Scene study classes are essential stepping stones which prepare students to participate in full-scale productions. They provide the actor with the tools that are required for full plays. These small-scale performances allow for the teaching of important skills such as characterization, movement, and vocal development, and introduce students to classic plays of many styles and periods.
It is highly recommended that students participate in scene study classes to prepare themselves to be cast in our mainstage productions. Mainstage productions are by invitation only.
Sets, Props, and Costume Production Classes
These classes provide an opportunity to learn the technical aspects of theater production. They are designed both for actors who want to expand their theatrical experience, and for those who prefer to be backstage. Students will gain a deep understanding of the play through exploring the historical period in which the play is set. They will learn how sets and costumes help develop the atmosphere of a play and support the interpretation of each role.
Final Presentation
Every class has a Final Presentation. Friends and family are welcome to view this free performance.
